The highly anticipated Ramayana, produced by Namit Malhotra, is gearing up for a grand release, but with a twist! Originally slated for Diwali 2026, the film might arrive a week earlier, on October 30, 2026.

Bollywood Hungama has revealed that Malhotra is considering a strategic move to prepone the release, aiming to build buzz and word-of-mouth before the festive season. This innovative approach could revolutionize the box office game, as the film aims to attract larger audiences in its second week, coinciding with Diwali celebrations.

The star-studded cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has already generated significant excitement. The first teaser, released earlier this year, created a buzz across the industry.

Malhotra's vision is to create a new benchmark for pre-Diwali releases, ensuring the film's success through positive word-of-mouth. Negotiations are underway, and a final decision on the release date is imminent. The official announcement will coincide with the distribution deal, with top distributors offering a whopping Rs. 450 crore.
