Kubbra Sait Hails Nana Patekar as a ‘Phenomenon’

Actor Kubbra Sait recently spoke about her experience working with veteran performer Nana Patekar during the trailer launch of their upcoming series Sankalp. The event saw Kubbra sharing insights into the actor's work process and discipline on set, describing Patekar as a 'phenomenon' due to his exceptional approach to acting.

Addressing the media at the event, Kubbra reflected on the experience, stating, 'Nana Patekar is a phenomenon. I have never seen an actor who writes the next day's script with his own hands and then memorises every line himself. His writing is powerful, his involvement is absolute, and his dedication is unmatched. Watching him work has been one of the greatest learning experiences of my life.'

Kubbra noted that observing Patekar's preparation offered her a deeper understanding of the level of involvement some actors bring to their roles. According to her, his method of revisiting the script and preparing extensively before filming was one of the aspects that left an impression on her during the project.

The series Sankalp marks another collaboration between established and younger actors within the industry, with Patekar set to feature in a central role alongside Kubbra and other cast members. Kubbra Sait, who gained wider recognition for her performance in the streaming series Sacred Games, has continued to appear in films and digital projects over the past few years.
