Kid Rock’s Pool Party: Army Helicopters Suspended, Then Cleared

In a surprising turn of events, the Pentagon has lifted the suspension of two US army helicopter crews who hovered over singer Kid Rock's home in Tennessee. The crews were initially suspended pending an investigation, but Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth quickly intervened, stating, 'No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots.'

The incident occurred on Saturday when two AH-64 Apache helicopters from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Campbell conducted a flight near Kid Rock's residence. The singer, a known supporter of former President Donald Trump, was seen clapping and saluting the helicopters as they flew by his swimming pool.

Kid Rock shared his enthusiasm for the military flyover on social media, posting two videos of the helicopters alongside his pool. He even took a playful jab at California Governor Gavin Newsom, a frequent Trump critic.

The army's initial response was to suspend the crews, citing a need to review compliance with regulations and safety protocols. However, within hours, Hegseth stepped in, emphasizing the importance of supporting the troops and their morale.

Kid Rock, who has performed for troops overseas, expressed his gratitude for the military's presence. He mentioned that helicopters from Fort Campbell often fly near his home, and he has even invited the pilots to do so. The singer believes that his support for the military and his friendship with Vice-President JD Vance played a role in the quick resolution of the matter.

The helicopters were on a training mission and also flew over a protest against Trump in downtown Nashville. However, the army clarified that their presence was not related to the protest. This incident highlights the unique relationship between celebrities, the military, and the public, showcasing the power of a shared appreciation for service and patriotism.
