Khushboo Sunder’s Comeback: Embracing New Opportunities
In a recent interview, Khushboo Sunder shares her excitement about returning to Hindi cinema with the film Subedaar, where she reunites with veteran actor Anil Kapoor after a long hiatus of 41 years. The actress emphasizes that the significance of a role is more important than its duration.
Sunder fondly recalls working with Kapoor, noting that his passion and enthusiasm remain unchanged since their last collaboration in Meri Jung (1985). She praises his unwavering dedication and eagerness to learn, which have only intensified over time. The actress also expresses admiration for director Suresh Triveni, known for his exceptional portrayal of women in films like Tumhari Sulu.
When asked about her career choices, Sunder reveals her love for language crossover and her openness to working in various languages. She believes that the Indian film industry should offer more diverse roles for actresses of all ages, and she is selective about her projects. The actress also discusses the challenges of transitioning between different acting roles due to her weight loss, which has led to directors' uncertainty about casting her.
Sunder is currently working on several projects, including Telugu films Mahakali and an untitled big-budget production, as well as a Tamil film with Harish Kalyan. She remains optimistic about her career, stating that every decision, good or bad, has contributed to her growth and current success.
