Bollywood Legends Celebrate Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai

The trailer launch of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai brought together a remarkable gathering of Bollywood's finest on May 23 in Mumbai. Among the attendees were Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, and the legendary filmmaker David Dhawan, along with a host of other renowned personalities from the industry.

Sameer, the renowned lyricist, took the audience on a trip down memory lane, sharing his experiences of working with David Dhawan. He humorously recalled the challenges of writing songs for Dhawan's films, stating that it would raise his blood pressure. Sameer's anecdotes included the creation of the iconic song 'Ishq Sona Hai' from Biwi No 1 (1999), where he had to add the line 'Ishq chandi hai, ishq sona hai' to satisfy Dhawan's unique vision.

The event also featured Rumy Jafry, who has written for David Dhawan's films. Jafry shared a funny story about the song 'Oonchi Hai Building Lift Teri Bandh Hai' from Judwaa (1997), where producer Sajid Nadiadwala questioned the song's relevance as the heroine lived in a bungalow. Jafry's witty response to Dhawan's defense of the song added to the light-hearted atmosphere.

The film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, is set to release in cinemas on June 5, promising to be a delightful addition to the Bollywood landscape.
