However, just a few days into their trip, Lynette vanished. The Bahamian police arrested Brian a few days later, and he is currently in custody while the authorities investigate.

Brian maintains his innocence, claiming that his wife of over 20 years accidentally fell overboard from their small motorboat while they were traveling between Hope Town and Elbow Cay in the Bahamas. He stated that Lynette had the keys to the boat's engine, which shut off, and strong currents carried her away.
