Sanjay Dutt’s Aakhri Sawal: New Release Date Announced

The makers of Aakhri Sawal have officially announced a revised release schedule, bringing the film to audiences sooner than expected. Originally set for May 16, 2026, the movie will now grace the big screen on May 8, 2026, marking a significant preponement.

This decision comes in response to the growing excitement surrounding the project, especially after the release of its teaser on Hanuman Jayanti. The teaser, a brief yet powerful glimpse into the film's narrative, has sparked conversations and generated buzz, particularly due to its focus on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its historical journey.

Aakhri Sawal is poised to be an intense and thought-provoking drama, delving into lesser-known aspects of the RSS's history. The film's early promotional material, described as direct and provocative, hints at a narrative that will encourage dialogue and discussion.

National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang, known for his Marathi and Hindi cinema projects, is at the helm of this ambitious project. Warang's body of work includes the acclaimed Marathi film Picasso, for which he received a Special Mention at the 67th National Film Awards.

The film is presented and produced by Nikhil Nanda, with Sanjay Dutt also serving as a producer. It is co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand, and the screenplay is written by Utkarsh Naithani.

With its new release date, Aakhri Sawal is set to be one of the standout theatrical releases of early May 2026, offering audiences a compelling and unique cinematic experience.
