Anti-Migrant Activist Daniel Thomas Faces Multiple Charges
Anti-Migrant Activist in Court
Anti-migrant activist Daniel Thomas, known as Danny Tommo to his supporters, has appeared in court via videolink, facing a series of charges related to his activities in Dover.
Multiple Charges
The 37-year-old is accused of entering a restricted zone at a migrant processing centre in Dover on March 31st, according to court documents.
Thomas is also charged with using threatening words or behaviour in the town on April 1st and obstructing a person engaged in lawful activity on April 6th.
Additionally, he faces accusations of entering Dover Docks without permission and racially aggravated harassment.
Court Proceedings
Thomas appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Friday, wearing a grey T-shirt and rosary beads.
District Judge William Nelson decided to send the case for a further case management hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on November 4th.
This comes after Thomas was refused bail earlier this week during a crown court hearing for a separate incident, allegedly slashing a dinghy in the English Channel.
The case of Daniel Thomas highlights the complex legal landscape surrounding activism and the importance of adhering to the law.
