Akshay Kumar Offers Proven Solution to LPG Shortage in Mumbai

Actor Akshay Kumar recently addressed the ongoing LPG cylinder shortage in Mumbai during a public event at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) headquarters. Kumar was present to announce the launch of the 'Mumbai Clean League', a city-wide cleanliness competition, alongside Mumbai BJP president Ameet Satam.

During his interaction with the media, Kumar was asked about the impact of the LPG shortage on households. He candidly replied, “I've not faced any problem so far. My wife ordered two induction cooktops. I'm not sure whether the appliances have been delivered yet.”

Kumar's response comes at a time when several households across Mumbai and nearby regions are dealing with supply concerns. Many have begun turning to alternative cooking methods such as induction stoves, microwave ovens, and air fryers to manage potential disruptions. The state government has taken measures to address the situation, authorising police protection for the transportation and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas to curb black marketing and ensure smoother supply.
