Muthu Alias Kaattaan: Vijay Sethupathi’s New Series Unveils Intriguing Trailer

The upcoming series, Muthu Alias Kaattaan, has unveiled its official trailer, building upon the intrigue established in its earlier teaser. The teaser, released earlier this year, piqued curiosity with a macabre discovery linked to the central character, Muthu. Now, the trailer delves deeper, presenting a multifaceted story through various perspectives.

Starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, the series also features Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, and Muthukumar in pivotal roles. Vijay Sethupathi, known for his captivating performances, expressed his immediate connection to the story when it was first narrated to him by director M. Manikandan.

"Kaattaan's character and the world Manikandan created captivated me instantly. Working on this series was a peaceful experience as an actor, and I hope viewers will find it thought-provoking," Vijay Sethupathi shared.

Co-star Milind Soman, known for his selective approach to projects, was drawn to the series for its gripping narrative and bold characters. He plays Sivettan, a role he found irresistible. Muthu Alias Kaattaan is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker M. Manikandan, who co-directs with B. Ajith Kumar. The series' visual aesthetics are crafted by cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan, and the music is composed by Rajesh Murugesan.

The series will be available on JioHotstar from March 27, catering to a diverse audience with seven language options: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Bengali.
